I was there. Classic case of the kids from Midlo wanted it more. And were more disciplined.
Midlo wanted it more? How did you determine that?
Both teams had goal line stands in the scoreless second half.
Now I would say that phantom block in the back on Bird's first half interception return for a touchdown helped Midlo's cause greatly....

So did Bird‘s unsportsmanlike penalties.
Don't get me wrong, I could care less who won. Midlo played with more emotion, with more team spirit.
I think Bird is bigger, with more and potentially better athletes. I don’t think they played to their full potential.
