...don't see Bama making headway without Mitchell.

Of course, by the time MSU plays Bama @ Bama, Mitchell will be miraculously reinstated.

does he just want to make a big splash at the end and build suspense???

3 years in and he has the same number of NCAA appearances as Stansbury... that he is so much better of a coach than... Lets see if he can match Stansbury next year.</p>

I didn't really see any talent the last 2 years, yet he really should have been in last year ...when he finished NIT runner up

i guess he isn't as good a recruiter, but who cares if he can coach them ...it is not like Stansbury ceiling is very high 14 years in

Trevor Releford (SEC All-Freshman team), JaMychal Green (1st team All SEC),and Tony Mitchell (2nd team All SEC) are not talented to you? Plus according to Rivals Alabama had the 5th best recruiting class in the country last year.

Just sayin.

It's somehow a knock against Stans for inheriting a "team 3 years removed from a sweet 16 and final four" and not replicating that. Was it done during those 3 years? Hmmm, no. Were any of those players there after 3 years? Hmmm, no. So why even mention that as if Stans inherited something rolling and he's just 17ed it up royally? Stupid really. <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">

That is almost comical because just because they got to aFinal Four they are great coaches by some of our folks thinking. The dynamic duo is burning it up at Arkansas State with a 10-15 record. Of course it is hard to coach and recruit and run those bars in Arkansas. Stans has done very well in attracting decent talent to MSU and keeping us competitive. Of course we have folks who will pick the flavor of the month each year and then spout off how great they would be at MSU. Be carefulwhat you wish for, you might just end up with a disaster.
