I've ever seen in the 58 years of watching Gamecock football.
They were bad last week and much worse this week.
Do we have any help coming at all?

Replace Teasley with Elliott as OL coach. Beamer can coach TEs.It looks bad enough that someone needs to fired!
Couldn’t be any worse.Replace Teasley with Elliott as OL coach. Beamer can coach TEs.
I always felt bad for big John Abraham. A stud DE that played his last two years here on two of our worst teams in history. We’ve had some bad ones. The 0-11/1-10 teams had so many injuries we had d lineman switched over mid season to o l. This team has zero excuses.
I dont know. If it wasn't for punt returns we would not be winning a game we were favored by 50 to win.Guys….i know it hasn’t been pretty the last couple games, but have we really already forgotten the UNC opener 2 years ago? I’ve never seen a worse o-line performance than that.
You play like you practice. No urgency tonight. Must been a slack week of practiceThe two punt returns for TDs were nice.
But why haven’t we been able to throw a few nice long juicy TouchDowns? This is f’ing SC State! No RBs drilling their way into the end zone or anything.![]()
I spoke way too dang soon!!OL looks a teeny bit better here in the second half - couldn’t look much worse, so it’s a low bar.
When? We were playing a high school team last night.I spoke way too dang soon!!
Vandy should not be pre-dismissed. They got behind 20-10 at VT before going on a 34-0 run. They are better coached than we are, even if we should bring more talent.Urban Meyer has said that the two most important hires on a football staff are: Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and Offensive Line.
Between the team I saw play Virginia Tech on a neutral field last week and the team I saw play Virginia Tech at Blacksburg last night, I have no doubt that the team that played VT at Blacksburg will win this coming Saturday, maybe easily.
If Beamer praises the offensive line's performance like he did last week, he will lose all credibility.
Every team we play seems to be better coached.Vandy should not be pre-dismissed. They got behind 20-10 at VT before going on a 34-0 run. They are better coached than we are, even if we should bring more talent.
I've only watched 3 or 4 minutes of reply, as I didn't watch the game but what I see immediately is their #11 in our backfield after lining up in front of Thompson. (that kid looks like MCconklin from GA.) Thompson whiffed badly on a couple of plays against him. I know he was heralded as Freshman this and that last year, but I had questions then. These few plays confirm if he is our best we aint got much. Pringle may have been dejected because he was playing behind weaker players. Simpson was the player last year that played with fire in his belly and often would scrum with defenders. THAT is what we need and don't have. Player development at this position is poor. we have signed about eight 4 stars in the last 3 years. Where is 4-star performance?
Our offensive scheme works as well as Wile E. Coyote's best laid plans.
Something's gotta give, but Beamer's loyal - loyal to a fault with coaches it would seem. We are wasting Sellers' abilities behind an atrocious OL as precious games of eligibility tick away.I see that CBS Sports" Brad Crawford was critical of our offensive line, too. It's a shame that Beamer did not make a move on Teasley last year. Maybe he was waiting on someone to "steal" him like Nebraska "stole" Satterfield. If Teasley has any sense, he will be updating his resume. In the meantime, if I was Beamer, I would switch Elliott and Teasley. At least when Elliott was here coaching the OL, we won the SEC East one season and 11 games each the following 3 seasons. I was not all that impressed by Elliott's OLs. But, we did get positive results, finishing among the nation's Top 10 in each of those 3 seasons. Switching them might tick off Teasley. But, what's the worst he could do? Quit?
