No records set, but there were a lot of really good scores.
I didn't watch yesterday except at times, but how did DeChambeau manage to stay under par and make the cut? Looked like he swung and missed a time or two, took 3 shots to get out of the long rough, etc. If he could stop taking chances and play with his brain a bit more he'd do a lot better, but that's not his way.

He's paired with the Chinese guy, Li, and that guy will be a nervous wreck tomorrow.
Scheffler will almost certainly win. His shot out of the long greenside rough was pretty amazing.
He shot 78 on Thursday but followed that up with a 65 yesterday to make the cut on the number. Then shot 68 today to get to 2-under. If he had just shot even par on Thursday, he’d be in contention for the win.
DeChambeau’s game is just not made for links type courses in Britain. Distance will fix a lot of marginal shots over here but accuracy is what’s required over there.
Maybe he figured something out. He’s 6-under today through 15. Moved all the way up to 5th place. Too bad his first round was so terrible or he might’ve won this thing.
Bryson shoots 64 to move into tie for 2nd. 19 birdies in his final three rounds. I guess he’s figured out this links golf thing.
