Splitting up the band - both will remain on ESPN as part of morning shows with Golic getting the radio spot and backwater spot on one of the secondary ESPN channels. The show had been going down IMHO - largely due to the production oversight when it moved to being aired on ESPN2. If I never listen to Greenberg again - I am good with that.

Decent show when it was radio only - now it is largely used to promote other personalities at ESPN and spends way too much time on crap I don't care about (what ESPN has decided to be the topic of the day or week).

Hopefully Golic will get back to more sports talk and eliminate items like Greenie's obsessions and neurotic impulses. If ESPN keeps the overlord approach - it will still suck.....one can hope....one can hope.

The show just turned into commercials, ridiculously lame teases, and guest-hosts. In addition, it has become truly embarassing how many days off they get/take. I used to love it too.

Remember getting up and enjoying the morning with those two when they talked sports and had on sports guys to disect the events from the night before. Miss those days. Hope Golic gets back to sports and Greenish, well hope he goes away, too much slap stick comedy without the comedy.

Disagree on the bankrupt, but I as well love the show...think it's a GREAT blend!!!

Not yet - Mike Jr. is supposed to be on for 1 hour a day - that sounds like a test - either it works and he remains employed at ESPN or they cut him loose. Had not thought about Golic moving - but makes sense as part of the deal.

I used to listen any chance I got. Absolutely loved Mike & Mike for years, but haven't listened much at all the last 2 or 3 years. By the time I get to listen to the radio, its already to the Lebatard show.

I have always enjoyed both Mikes equally. They both have some annoying times, but they are still good listening together.

Dan Leb is so dumb. The show is set up in every way to make Stugotz get hosed. I like Stugotz. Leb is so dumb/annoying and I have a hard time listening to him talk.

I was listening the other day when they had the spelling bee for NBA players. One guy tweeted about Stugotz getting hosed and they played that sound bite a couple times. All a set up. But I do like Stugotz most of the time.

Yikes. Brutal indeed, but their schedule now at 6 am ET is also brutal, as I assume those guys are up by 4 am watching highlights from the previous day.
