the only people he has to tell are the authorities....he doesnt have to tell you anything....no matter what he says, its not going to make things any better

basis for the perjury charges against the AD and PSU VP. McQuery told the Grand Jury a some horrible details, but the AD/VP told the Grand Jury that McQuery did not tell them all the details, that McQuery only told them things like "horseplay". The Attorney General doesn't believe the AD/VP and therefore is bringing perjury charges against them. <div>
</div><div>So even if McQuery is silent now about what he told JoePa and the AD/VP, if there is a perjury trial, it will come out then. No doubt JoePa will be subpoenaed to testify what he was told and what he told the AD/VP.</div>

is because their is still a small part of me that believes Joe is that oblivious to the whole matter. He is a very old man that doesn't even know how to use a computer so yes I can believe that Joe really had absolutely know idea who and what Jerry Sandusky is. That small belief will no longer exist if Joe had been told what happened.

but the reality is that they really dont have to tell us. And until court, I wouldnt expect much to come out from the people in question<div>
</div><div>Personally, I think JoePa covered it up so that his tenure at Penn State wouldnt be tarnished.</div>

Is that it seems that JoePa said almost the exact same thing that those two did, but wasn't prosecuted for perjury. Maybe the fact that he passed the information on to his superiors helped him avoid prosecution, but if those two weren't telling the truth, it seems odd that they believed him. I guess the fact that he's older and may not seem able to remember details might help him in that area.
