You have no idea what the hell you're talking about. You came into today with the presumption that he was soft because he doesn't lose his damn mind whenever anything goes wrong and now you're trying to back up your own narrative. Do tell. Was it coming back from being down 24-14 that made him soft? Was it allowing all of 3 points to a very good offense in the second half (before the fluke play) that made him soft? Is it that he doesn't scream and curse?

Dumb post. The dude was under control and made adjustments. Two things that never happened in the previous regime. Give him 3 years to find HIS players and a throwing quaterback and we will be in contention for a Big 10 title. Until then, you will continue to see wrinkles and it's not entirely his fault.

I watched that game live and a few times postmortem. This BYU didn't have 2 future NFL RBs like that badger team did. I'd be shocked if BYU a has a single NFL player on its squad.

I thought the coaching was pretty good.. I didn't see a lot to criticize there.. adjustments were made, the right calls were made, clock management was good, taking the time outs at the right time, good play calling for the most part, I guess to me I don't see where there is much to complain about. I'd be more inclined to say the coaching staff did a good job and certainly is way more professional than the old staff. I don't get where the OP is coming from.
Soft? Do you remember last years defense??? The one that let anybody that could run the ball go ham on them. They are trying to fix that defense (and trying to fix it without any LBs).

Mike Riley at the press conference talked like a classic loser. Unfortunately it's only going to get worse and write and worse. Frankly I don't know how many nor horrific coaching moves Nebraska can take!!

You're right. I forgot how amazing Treyvon Green, Johnathan Franklin, JJ James, Jeremy Langford, and Fitzgerald Toussaint have been in the NFL.
As for BYU, #90 Bronson Kaufusi (their DE) and WR's Nick Kurtz and Mitch Matthews will play in the NFL.
Is it possible to be critical of this staff without also wanting Pelini back? The negative posters could very well like Pelini more, but it seems like every critical post is answered with something about "where the hell were you the past five years with Bo" etc.

I don't think I'd call him soft, but I am concerned that he has a history of throwing the ball more than running the ball. I'm not sure that style will get us back to prominence.
Let's not make pronouncements like Riley is soft. It's one game. Wait until at least game ten or eleven.
