Happy for Mike and us as fans. Mike is the BEST in Cards Media in my opinion. He's smart and funny, but isn't over the top. Does not have an ego. And it seems like everyone likes him. I like Nick Coffey a bit, but man there's nothing good to listen to right now. Ennis and the whole 939/680 gang is just getting old, although I like Mark's takes, but they just "fake" talk trash everyday and scream.

He may need a co-host, but idk if I want Ramsey back. The whole "Im a alpha male boomer" schtick got old and it seems like his value diminished after Jurich was gone. I personally think TJ propped him up as a mouth piece for him.

But anyways it's good that we'll have Mike back. I think he's kind of a unifying voice of the fanbase and his show will be the center of discussion.

I like listening to Maybin and I do listen to the 93.9 guys, but I admit at times I have to turn Ennis off. His non sports views get old as he’s too liberal for me. He borderlines phobia with the pandemic stuff. I’m for being cautious but geez he goes over board and he just loves Hitler Andy.

He's all right ... but the first time Rutherford says "ish" (instead of crap) is when I have to turn him off. Sometimes, things that work "in print" or on a message board, completely whiff on radio. But I think using "ish" on a message board whiffs too .... it's stupid.

And if you're looking for a drinking game that will get you schnockered -- Drink every time Mark Ennis says "that sort of thing". You'll be hammered before he gets to hour two.

I agree they talk too much NBA but it is the summer so they need stuff to talk about. I absolutely loathe the NBA. I have for years, long before the nauseating King James. But I like hearing about former Cards and that is the only time I listen to NBA talk.

But for the most part they're pretty good talking about hating UK and the NCAA. I can dig that.

I listened for awhile in the car yesterday. 96.1 fm and the voices weren’t very crisp.
