Police say the 4-year-old daughter of boxer Mike Tyson has died a day after her neck accidentally was caught in a treadmill cord while she was playing at home.

Phoenix police spokesman Andy Hill said Exodus Tyson was pronounced dead in a hospital just before noon Tuesday. Police have said an investigation showed it was a "tragic accident."</p>

Police say the girl was playing on the treadmill Monday when her head apparently slipped inside a cord hanging under the console. Exodus' 7-year-old brother found her and alerted his mother.</p>

Former heavyweight champion Tyson was in Las Vegas at the time of the accident and flew to Phoenix on Monday.</p>

Just when it seems like he is finally getting back on the right track this terrible tragedy happens. I don't know if anyone saw him on jimmy kimmel last week but it really seemed as though as he is not the same person he used to be. Very sad

...The best thing about TS was the trailer that played before it for The Hangover in which Tyson has a cameo. It was really hilarious and was the last time the audience enjoyed themselves for the next 2 hours.

Can't imagine handling something like that.

this must be about the 10th time I've agreed with Coarch this year. Just saw that the little girl had died on another site & was thinking the same thing. Very sad news.
