He is already receiving somewhere in the 3.6 to 3.7 million dollar a year range. Still a cool mil more per year than Coach Dan Mullen. I for one am damn glad Les is staying at LSU with his damn strong football team. I worry about LSU raiding our pantry. I worry about Georgia, too. The contract announced for Dan recently was a big deal, but it won't stop the rumors and threats. I predict it will take at least 3 mil per year and a commitment to revamp/enlarge Davis Wade to keep Dan Mullen longer than 3 seasons. Next time around, I'd like to see the buyout clause increase to the 2 mil range.
