I didn't agree with the sentiment that Miles should be fired because some players transferred out of the program. But it's amusing that the people who voiced that opinion are deemed a knee-jerk lynch mob, but a Miles honk thinks he should get big contract extension because of a Tweet suggesting he actually might sniff a different job. Now there's a well-reasoned, level-headed response.Time for Shawn Eichorst to open up the checkbook and offer Miles a deal he can't refuse.

Yes, right - I get that most of the people who want Miles fired wanted him gone well before the recent transfers. I'm just saying that once the decision was made to keep him, I didn't think Eichorst would be well-served by changing his mind because of the player departures.I don't think that's why
So it would look like our last 3 coaches....I'm sensing some sarcasm from Arbitr8. But seriously, if NM did offer, I hope Miles accepts. Probably best for him and Nebraska to get a fresh start.
That's an interesting thought. Maybe they could give Molinari a bucket and a mop and tell him he's being promoted to an administrative position within the athletic department? Is Chris Harriman worth bringing back, assuming he is fired, too?
Dude is an Iowa fan. Of course he wants miles around forever.I'm sensing some sarcasm from Arbitr8. But seriously, if NM did offer, I hope Miles accepts. Probably best for him and Nebraska to get a fresh start.
