I am not convinced he is not our best all around back. He will be really good before he leaves here.
hmm..I recall someone saying this a week or two ago. However, I do realize that Perkins makes us more multiple and harder to defend but if I need one yard I go with Milton and Robinson above Perkins. Perkins tiptoes more than any back I've ever seen and occasionally comes to a complete stop in the hole.

Anthony Dixon. That dude looked like dancing with the stars until Mullen got there and made him realize that he is 6'1" 230lbs. I know he was coarched by Crooms but the guy was huge and he looked like he was afraid of contact.
I'm no coach34 but I understand football. If Perkins was running behind last years O-line we would have already made the switch to Milton. We are opening up holes and preventing teams from getting in the backfield which allows Perkins time to dance and use his speed once he gets to the second level.
Doesn't matter if Ballard started last year... Perkins did run behind that line and he still did decently.
