I already basically said that I understand it, even if I don't necessarily agree with it. Many parents are so protective of their children that they sometimes see red and respond overaggressively. I would hope I would take a different, more directed approach if I was in that situation, but I most certainly am not going to pass judgement over it....

I have no issue with using the "2 wrongs don't make a right" angle here. I just am not really bothered by it because of who Mineo has shown himself to be and his being a "public" figure in this sport. I know using "public" figure here is much more loose than many other public figures, but you open yourself up and even your family when you choose that type of profession.
