Fine. I will pass judgement.
You guys want to trash Mineo, and that I agree with. He is the worst of the worst. I have told him this directly. In turn he called me an "a hole". I feel like I should get t-shirts printed up.
But guys like
@ChicagoHawk2020 think the right response to Mineo's awfulness is to become like Mineo. So much the worse for him.
I have no issue with using the "2 wrongs don't make a right" angle here. I just am not really bothered by it because of who Mineo has shown himself to be and his being a "public" figure in this sport. I know using "public" figure here is much more loose than many other public figures, but you open yourself up and even your family when you choose that type of profession.
With that said, I personally like to go right after the person and topic in question vs. going the route that was chosen, so I would like to think I wouldn't go there.....
I will say that this reminds me of a joke I heard not that long ago. I am paraphrasing a bit, but it basically goes: A husband and wife were arguing after the credit card bill came in the mail. The husband basically said, "You know we can't afford all this. What were you thinking?" Her immediate response was, "Yeah, well your hair looks so stupid like that!"
Basically, people respond differently when they feel they are being attacked and many of those go off topic, trying to hurt as much or even more than they feel hurt by the original topic...
