They'll sell at $100. Im glad they didn't offer OSU as part of the mini plan. If they're going to show up, make them pay through the nose.

A lot of interesting changes this year. Glad that they differentiated between someone with 15 PP and 1 PP for mini plans. Last year those two were treated the same.

Also smart to drop the Norfolk State prices.

I understand not including a Ohio State in the mini-plan because they just won the national championship and are a premium tickets, similiar to why the Yankees dont include the Red Sox or Mets in their mini plans and rather have em pay top dollar not a discount

But i dont think as many Rutgers fans are going to pay top dollar to see Ohio St come in here and most likely whoop us, but if included in mini plan that would be the top ticket...Now if R is undefeated going into that game, the demand will be huge, but its wait and see.. Maybe they should sell those as single game tickets now for 200 a pop...

I also dont see as many mini-plans being sold as last year with exclusion of Ohio St.

However i think R got it correct because still by far the best option is to buy season tickets which is basically the same price as mini plan with ohio state game in it...

The mini plan is good tho cus u could get 3 solid games, last year option A was Howard or Tulane..

We will see but i dont see alot of those plans being sold

From the link to the official policy and prices, it appears that there are no lower tier sideline seats available. Are those all sold out? If so, that would be a great start toward getting back to over 30,000 seasons' tix again.

Thanks to the OP for psting this. I am going to be a mini-plan purchaser, this year, as it wasn't making sense anymore to purchase season's tickets only to sell off half of them each year (and taking a loss, at that). This fits my needs and that'll be great.

I guess the only other option for someone in my boat would be to purchase tickets, individually, either through StubHub or at the games.

Its more about Penn St last year driving more demand. We won't sell as many but there's no reason why these plans won't be similarly successful plus, guaranteeing Ohio sell out easily. People will pay to see the top team in the nation.

Nebraska travels great, and being the first time, they are going to gobble up mini-plans... again not as much as Penn st fans but more than respectable. Mich St. this year opposed to Mich last year is about the same.. Option B - Maryland/Kansas this year vs Wisc/Indiana last year.... this year should be better with Maryland so close. Wash St. in option C doesn't force you to eat a crap ticket like last year.

So don't understand the skepticism.... at all.

Why is the miniplan more expensive than purchasing the games individually? If they had a discount, I might buy some with friends and would plan to attend all games. If I purchase individually, my wife or I will probably come up with a few reasons not to attend games.

Not trying to be a skeptic at all, i think the mini plan is better than last years and i think Rutgers did the right thing by excluding top ticket Ohio State....

However why buy the mini plan when you are not even getting the best game ?

If you are gonna go to all 3 of those mini plan games im assuming you would want to go to ohio state as well, so you are gonna buy a mini plan and then a single game?

Youre better off with the whole season package for way less money...

And youre implying that our mini plans are geared to visiting fans is just silly.

You think Nebraska fans are going to pay 210 per ticket for 3 games and not use two of em instead of buying a single game for less.. Thats silly..

I dont see these mini plans selling half as much as last year...

Last year average R fan bought cus they wanted psu or michigan...theres no must have game this year except ohio state and its not available so either buy single game or season

because dynamic pricing will drive individual ticket prices for some games up higher than what is showing now. If you do not buy the miniplan you risk not only being shut out but having to pay $125 or more for a game

Thanks, I see the timing is different. Makes sense. Wonder if seat locations for miniplans is better or just different sections.

Any remaining single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, August 3 at market prices exceeding the preferred pricing listed. Single-game tickets will be available while supplies last, based on sales for season tickets, mini-plans and single-game pre-sale to Rutgers season ticket holders.

Last season dynamic pricing brought in almost $500,000 over the regular price for individual games. People don't seem to realize how many Alum of B1G schools live in the Tri State area, just look at the crowds that attended for a lousy RU basketball team vs any B1G team.

Thats true. ..and there will be more Ohio State fans at the stadium than what Michigan, PSU, or Wisconsin brought

If the individual game get-in price is $130+ for the Nebraska game, then it makes sense for a Nebraska fan to get the mini plan and sell the other 2 games.

If the individual game get-in price is $130+ for the Nebraska game, then it makes sense for a Nebraska fan to get the mini plan and sell the other 2 games.

OR.... if they are local, spend a great Saturday watching live college football!

It wouldn't bother me one bit to have some extra Nebraska fans that live locally coming to a few more games.

You really do not have a clue, I know some PSU fans that paid $750 dollars for ONE parking pass in the Scarlet Lot. if you think that $200 or more for a seat will scare away the rabid OSU fans you are very wrong & if better seats for Nebraska are available for the single game then are available in the mini pack, Nebraska fans will spend more money to get better seats.

Everybody but RU team. Hopefully they can keep OSU under 60 - possible if the bench players come in during third instead of fourth.

$200 is pricey but not THAT bad for Nebraksa fans, especially when you can sell the other 2 tickets and make New York trip out of it. A certain segement of the fanbase goes to every away game and while you not think it Nebraska has a lot of fans across the country so a game in the Northeast is a must go for fans in that area. I don't see Nebraska traveling like PSU or OSU given the distance, but Nebraska should have a decent showing given the distance.

Any idea how many alumni you have in New Jersey,Connecticut,Pennsy,New York,Delaware, and Maryland. Fans in these states could make the game and be home in one day. Just curious.

I know a penn state girl that graduated maybe 2 or 3 years ago that was all excited for her and her group of 12 girlfriends that were going to take over Rutgers stadium last September then she couldnt find tickets for less than 125$ and she said they all agreed they were not paying that much money..

Another penn state fanatic i work with was offered excellent upper deck seats right at the 50 for $200 each and he said no thanks

So i dont know why people are telling me im wrong

Some people are rich and can afford to go to premium games
