I'm not a Vikings fan, although I admit curiosity due to the Favre situation, but the real issue in this story to me has nothing to do with the quarterbacks. The Minnesota Vkings have defense problems, especially in the 2nd half, in every game. They play great for two or three quarters every game, then they disappear. If I were a Viking fan, that would be my area of concern. If they even make the playoffs, they aren't going far unless that D starts to man up.

Unbelievable. You can't even touch QBs anymore. Clean hit all the way around on Rodgers and he gets the cupcake call.

a former QB who suffered a lot of concussions in his career makes a crack about "not knowing what a penalty on the QB is anymore".

In 20 years, the NFL will be playing 2-hand touch at this rate. It's ridiculous.

QB's are the biggest stars (or moneymakers) in the NFL. They will do everything they can to protect them. It's unfortunate, but that's business I guess.

do agree they have some holes on defense........One other thing, Favre is not getting touched at all.......that offensive line is protecting him........He wasn't sacked at all today........

They have to blitz alot to cover for a worse than mediocre 2ndary. LB's are good and the offense speaks for itself.

I can see someone like Brees exploiting Minnesota's secondary, but I can also see AP shredding NO's defense too. Wildcard in the QB\s is that BF has been there and done that and Brees-not really
