I’ve been looking forward to this game since preseason. My 3 nieces go to Oswego. I thought this would be a matchup of 2 8-0 teams. I’ll be at Oswego Friday watching.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this matchup? I haven’t seen either of them play for several years.

it should be a good one. I don’t know a lot about Oswego but 8-0 is real. Minooka has been a strong proud program so I would expect a dog fight of a game.

We just lost close games to Minooka 2 weeks ago and then Oswego this week. We had strong opportunities to win each game.

Think will be a close game in the low 20's for a score, being on the grass helps Oswego imo.

Oswego will need a few big plays on O to win the game. If no big plays Minooka wins by 4.

If this game was played earlier in the year, I'd say that Minooka would be the favorite (and they probably still are) due to their experience returning 17-18 starters. Both programs were in the same youth league and routinely played each other in the championship games for both the 2020 and 2021 classes. Oswego's 2020 class last regular season loss was sophomore year to Minooka. Minooka's strength is their offensive line, while Oswego's strength is the D-line. I haven't watched the film on Minooka's kicker, but Oswego is struggling in the kicking game with Sr. Nico Goodwin out for the year and the back up kicker (who is also really good) on and off due to personal issues.
