and it is now time to make a change. Croom is not the answer and needs to go. State's performance today reminded me of year 1 with it's competitiveness. The only difference was the big can of QUIT that they opened.

schools on here telling you need to fire a Coach. He is a great man but he is not man for the job.
he is stubborn, egotistical, always right, too quick to lay the blame, has a team with just as many criminals as any other average team out there, shoots off at the mouth way too often, and finally he is condescending to the fans of MSU to the point of being a snob.
now...i know i will get blasted for that statement. i said the same **** last year when we were winning. i was glad to have him last year simply because we were winning because i don't care about his greatness or his character as long as he wins. it just aggrivates the hell out of me that he has gotten a pass from many because he is a "great" man of "character."
i will admit too that i believe croom does have some of the qualities that people say he has but the extent of which is debateable. and the other things i listed above make him human. so i think it is a wash.
to me....he is simply a bad coach and nothing else. the great man of character crap has got to stop because i think that along with some of the other social pressures are what has kept him here so long. he needs to be graded objectively on his ability to coach this team and take us to the next level. NOTHING ELSE. i don't care if it is his color, his attitude, his weight, his graduation rate, his turning of boys into men, etc....it needs to be on whether or not he can consistently win. period. until then we are stuck with the experiment for a very long time.

Please tell me of the great deeds Croom has done that earned him the right to be called a great man. It hasn`t happened.
He did come in here and clean up jackie's mess. While his players have not always acted like roll models ex the bar fight and gun firing. He is a great speaker and is a great PR guy but all that does not help one bit come game time because the idiot can't coach. Why not go for it on 4th when we were on they 1 but go for it later when we at their 30. I don't think the players quit on him. I think Croom and the coaches never got them fired up to play this game. It is just like the La tech game except we got our butts kicked on defense this time around too. </p>
