Going to be interested to see different point totals in the polls, and specifically if we move down in the polls after a week off! The truth shall be told toda how many media people confuse Miss State and Ole Miss later today.

We should not move more than one position forward or backward unless the confusion continues that Miss State lost to Alabama last night.

Replying to my own thread to say I really could give a ahit what happens in any poll other than the final poll of te year, just curious to see not just the rankings but also the point totals of votes.

Not unusual to move down a place or two after a bye week. I think the buy week would affect the position more so than any confusion with MSU and OM.

We'll jump Michigan State but I think Nebraska will jump us. I doubt Stanford falls too much.

We'll be 19 in AP and 18 in Coaches'

We'll jump Louisville and Michigan State in both, but Oregon State will jump us in the Coaches'.

It wouldn't be surprising to see a slight move in either direction. Now, if we moved down drastically (out of the top 25) then I'd agree that some idiots confused us with OM.

Sorry about the misspelled word, but sort of slow on Sunday morning. However, in defense of my theory just remember the old saying, "out of sight - out of mind." We will drop a spot or two.

You obviously don't understand your mistake...you didn't misspell "buy"....

My mistake. Louisville stayed ahead of us in both polls, despite only barely beating an 0-4 Southern Miss team and having nothing impressive on their resume. Shame, voters.
