With football season upon us, I’d like to say that the football board won’t be the same without Wilkie. I never met the man but he knew his stuff when talking about football. He obviously was a huge UofL fan. I’m gonna miss discussing the games and getting his insight on here.

He did bring a lot of joy to the table with pretty much every post.
I never met him that I remember, but I’m sure he’s “up there” cheering UofL on just as though he was sitting at CS. That’s how it is with us Card fans. RIP Wilkie.

He passed away - a friend of his logged in to inform the board I've lost track of how long ago this happened. Within the last year I think.
Wilkie was one of the classiest posters I've seen on any board. As a rival fan if you wanted to talk sports he could engage you all day long. If you wanted to talk smack, he could smash you down on the mat with the best.

Yes,Wilkie was a good guy and he is missed. We're just internet friends who miss him. I can only imagine how his family feels. It's a void on this board so I know it's a void in their lives.
I enjoyed interacting with Wilkie for years on the CSNbbs message boards.
