Today the all MHSAA teams were announced. Here are some notes of interest:

Chris Stratton, MSU signee, was named first team all 5A.

Ethan Bright, MSU signee, was named second team all 5A.

Donnie Tabb, a former MSU commit who will go to JUCO or in the draft, was named first team all 4A as an infielder.

Phillip Tice- the guy who a lot of the Stacy Hester contrversey is centered around was named second team all 4A as an infielder.

Phillip Malatesta, an Arkansas State signee from Oxford, was named first team all 4A. For any Tommy Raffo fans out there.

Nick Helmstetter, a Meridian CC signee that I posted about a few weeks ago made first team all 4A. He has had to battle a lot of hardships throughout his life, and I just think it's a great story.

Jared Miller- Cohen's latest signee, was named 3A player of the year.

Chase Luwallen, Miller's teammate and a MSU commit, made first team all 3A as a junior on the infield.

Dennis Thames, MSU football signee, made first team all 3A as an OF.

Billy Hamilton, MSU football signee, was named 2A player of the year.

Elliott Varney, MSU walk-on for baseball from St. Andrew's, was named first team 2A as a pitcher.

St. Aloysious Clint Wilkerson was named 1A coach of the year. St. Al also placed four players on the first team all 1A list- Stephen Evans as a pitcher, Ryne Martin-nez as an infielder, Sean Weaver as a catcher, and Pierson Waring as a utility player. I hope this info, along with my continuous clicking of ads helps me to get free chat, or at the very least a cool Internet nickname under my name.

Also of note from the private schools- MSU signee Kolby Byrd had an impressive showing in the Academy All-Star game from what I understand.
