I don't hate the facilities plan. Of course they just paid a planning firm to make it look pretty, but hey you have to have that. At least they are thinking about unique things like the athletics corridor and making it pedestrian friendly, etc.

But where we still lack is.....what is our plan to WIN? The first link is just the same gobbleday gook that every program puts out. How are we being different?

Ask for: Updated lights and some for football and more actual seating for baseball

Gets: overpriced premium seating all around, 20 new suites, and a restaurant

I was told Salmon had a forest for the "bigger" trees problem and this makes it pretty clear

Take every dollar committed to this plan and pay players with it.

Yeah, I missed the word “facilities” on my first glance. I was hoping this was a strategic plan

I’m guessing the funds for the plan aren’t spendable on players? Of course who knows if they are or not, and if they aren’t today they may be tomorrow. That said, without an improved football team DWS improvements are like making a restaurant that serves bad food nicer and having better service, then charging the customers more for the upgrades and better service and giving them the same bad food.

I believe I saw it referred to as "temporary bleacher seating for SEC weekends" I immediately thought about the old silver bleachers that were down the 1st and 3rd base lines in the old Dude, that previous to that were in the North EZ of Davis Wade way back in the day. We can call that "Sustainable Seating" and charge environmentally sensitive fans a premium price for sitting in them.

When the Hump renovation was announced , I wanted to have one of the naming rights .... but when the reality of the construction occurred they cut a lot of things out ... the end result was nothing like the plan. Needless to say, I paid a lot of money to have my name up and they couldn't accommodate it and had to move it to another facility ...so I imagine the end product won't be anything like these renderings.

Be careful EZ, I got hollered at because I doubted that the Disco Lights will turn out as conceptualized

Ctrl + F chairback. 0 results in Davis Wade.

Do. Not. Want.
Yeah. Swing and a miss.

From my personal perspective, it take a large number of fans in pseudo-premium seating (100s and 200s), and provides them only with lesser solutions (endzone club) and/or much higher price points (loge seating)
I'm a few years from needing only two seats, so loge seating does me no good. I'm also not willing to pay significantly more than my current PSL level to move to crappy endzone views.

If you had this plan in place right now, you would have potentially zero options between the $650 and $1,600 PSL levels. How is our administration missing that?
