As someone who doesn't follow soccer at all, can anyone tell me if that ranking is justified or is it just because we won the league last year? I was under the assumption we lost most of the talent off last year's team.
We lost a LOT from last years team. But we’ve got a few good players returning & seem to have done a pretty good job recruiting the last few years & in the portal. We lost the head coach to Auburn, but I think Zimmerman was probably at least as important as Armstrong was. He held the team together with no significant transfers out. I think #20 is maybe a bit high for a rebuilding year. But I think we’ve got a chance to be pretty decent & make the NCAA tournament.
