A lot of people seemed to be putting this one in the win column leading into the season but this is looking like a tough game. They dont have the athletes Carolina does across their roster but Kamario Taylor looked really good.

There should never be such a thing as a gimme win as a Gamecock fan. We’ve seen them play down far too many times. Fair to say before the season the MSU game looked like one with a decent chance of winning. If SC fans can rightly take away some confidence from yesterday then Miss St can too. Looked like they had a great game themselves. Glad its a home game.

The bad thing about the Miss St game is that they will have a real competitive game under their belts before they play USC. Carolina won't truly know how good they are until they play Miss St.

No this will be a tough one like all SEC games. No old Vandys or Kentuckys. The portal has helped - and hurt - every team. I`m afraid the money issue isn`t so fair but every SEC team will be competitive.
