I actually have never been to Mississippi's baseball facility (which is not even on their campus, BTW) but I was reading a little about it on Wikipedia and was amused by the first line in the description of the Right Field Terrace. <span style="font-style: italic;">"While smaller and not as popular as Mississippi State University's "Left
Field Lounge", the hill beyond the right field wall ..." </span>Don't you know that statement has got to burn a little whenever their fans read about it. You can check it our by clicking here. Also, there is a much better entry for Dudy Noble field than for Swayze Field. You can read the Wikipedia entry for Dudy Noble by clicking here.

It's only ten in the morning and you're firing up Wikipedia smack?

If this is how the majority of your days go, you lead a miserable existence.

OM probably doesn't give a **** about our LFL because they're too busy hosting Regionals and Super Regionals, at least that's how I would feel were the situations reversed.

I've been to Swayze (last year during the UVA Super) and right field was fun. Its practically a giant student section where everyone has a cooler n ****. I wasn't rooting for OM, and enjoyed UVA winning, but I had a good time drinking beer watching baseball with my buddies who were in law school.

the left field lounge at dudy noble would have to be bigger to fit the trailers, dump trucks et al in. we're pretty happy not to have all that crap in our outfield. i know, i know you love it. that's fine, each to his own. as far as not being on the campus that's interesting. didn't know it wasn't cause it's about 200 yds from the grove so who gives a rat's ***? and finally... you should visit. you'd see one of the most beautiful baseball venues in the country.

not that it matters.

Both atmospheres are completely different. The only thing they have in common is that they are both behind the outfield walls at the respective parks. Why our fans insist on acting like they need to be compared I don't know. Our outfield atmosphere and general stadium atmosphere is great, one of the best in the country. MSU's outfield atmosphere and general stadium atmosphere is great, one of the best in the country as well.

They're different, but both are great places to watch a game with their own unique traditions.
