And Mitch is out for the rest of the season. I went to high school with Mitch, so our small town usually has a little something about him in the newspaper when anything happens. Today the Tupelo Daily Journal wrote....

"Mitch Moreland (Amory, MS MSU) is out for the season after fouling a ball off his foot in a game on Aug. 13, breaking his foot. He was hitting .326 with 8 home runs at Double-A Frisco in the Texas League. A 17th-round pick by the Texas Rangers in 2007, he's a .311 hitter in 266 minor-league games."
