Not yet, i've been waiting for the Texas blogs to update, but nothing yet. He was in town last weekend to play the redbirds and he mentioned this as a possibility, andwe got a phone call from him last night with the news.

Glad for Mitch - maybe he can make a difference in the black hole we have at first. Kinsler on the DL hurts...still we have a 7.5 game lead with 60 to go. Hopefully we can ride it out.

Even though they've already picked up Haren and Callaspo, D. Lee said no thanks... Looks like it may be the Rangers' division to lose. Very impressive what they've done this year, all while going bankrupt.

Mitch Moreland was one of my favorite players at MSU. Not only did Polk not pitch him until his junior year, but Polk almost redshirted him his freshman year, which would have meant that we would have gotten two years out of Mitch. He barely played as a freshman.
But all that aside, I hope he plays in MLB for 20 years and has a great career. He also was one of the main reasons why we went to Omaha in 2007.
