What do you guys think? Great game to come and watch Mountain football. Im picking Heritage to win by at least 2 TD's

As bad as I hate to agree with you, I think 2+ scores is a given. Even if good Mitchell shows up just don’t think they have the ability to keep this one close. Come on Mitchell and prove me wrong once again. Seems to be very little buzz around this game this year. Crazy times we are in.

Both teams have been a little inconsistent but Heritage is tough to beat at The Pit
Have to say Heritage was off against swain but what got Heritage the most at swain was the environment and the penalties. 3 cougar touchdowns were called back because of penalties and that was our fault. But needless to say if we play swain in a clean game we beat them 48 to 16, no offense to Swain they beat us outright but we shot our selves in the foot way too many times.

It should be a good game. Pulling for Mitchell to win this one to help in the RPI.
You lost a game that you feel like you should win by 30+ if you played a "clean" game?
My Bears played both teams ,Swain had a good team, but I don't understand how they beat MH .Of course we played a lot better against Swain than MH.
If we dont kill ourselves with penalties then yes I feel that a 40 to 16 game would've been possible. It dident happen lol but we were more than capable of it!
I agree, this is a big game for both teams and fans need to show up. Mitchell's qaurter back is better than most people think, and mountain heritage's line is a lot better than previously thought as well. Gonna be a run first game and low scoring more than likely!
You take out the 2 senior linemen on heritage, I think Mitchell has advantage. That heritage defense is nasty , mit will need change it up . Heritage seniors will be the difference in the game

Well yeah, this year's team doesn't have a lot of depth up front, but are starting 2 sophomore's and 2 junior's as well. I don't think Mitchell has a chance in stopping the run game but I also don't think MH has a chance in stopping any kind of passing game. I think if Mitchell is smart they throw the ball, but that's just not really in their DNA. And if they do, it's going to #4 most of the time, which is predictable.
LOL ... you had to be there. It was truly a wild game and experience. What I don't understand is why the admin at Swain allows people to be literally on the track behind the visiting teams bench. They had dozens of grown men talking trash to our coaches, ball boys, players and then had other people literally coaching their players and calling out plays that MH was calling on offense. It was just weird. Couple that with about 150 yards in penalties vs 15 and it all tilted towards the home team. In no other school would people be allowed to be that close to an opposing team & do what those fans/adults were doing. Every time we had a huge play or a TD, boom, penalty. And 95% of them came from the home sides line official.
That being said, Swain is physical and played their rear ends off and that's football. I think this MH team needed that experience and that loss in order to put some things into perspective and grow from it. I expect the week 1 loss for Pisgah vs MH did the same for that group.
MH wins big 45-13. Prayers for #15 for Mitchell and a speedy recovery. MH threw twice and Cason touched the ball 4 times. Big game next week
