Mitchell Boggs

Got the save for the Cardinals. I like it. I'm happy for Boggs- I pretty much had him pegged as a AAAA pitcher, but maybe being a closer is his niche. I've always liked him because he is a hard worker. Also, he was coached by Butch Thompson. If he becomes a good closer, it might help with recruiting a little bit.

well considering LaRussa just decided to remove Franklin from the closer role and there was 3 potential replacements I don't see how I could of been much quicker to pick up the supposed replacement. Still a risk to take Boggs. I'm 1-1 so far with no help from Carl Crawford or Kevin Youkolis riding my bench every game alongside Justin Morneau and Andrew Bailey on the dl.
