Your major stupid. You think pope didn’t think his team was Legit Final Four contender than you got a thing or two to learn about coaching and coaches confidence in their teams lil dummy
I like it when you guys call me names. It just shows you can't keep up with the argument.

You're bidding on a losing horse. It's not too late to jump off the horse before it goes off the cliff.

Signed,
Li'l Dummy (my new rapper name)

I hate how this played out, it sucks but we have a better roster this year. We will just have to see what happens. Hopefully we’re better defensively than what people are expecting

This news puts us somewhere between 6-8 in the SEC now. Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri and Bama are probably ahead of us. On paper, we’re about even with Bama but Oats has coached circles around Pope so far so I’d have to put them ahead of us.

This means 10+ losses again and that’s just not gonna cut it after the first two years.

When I really look at the SEC I think most teams are overrated like what does Tennessee have that we don’t?

both teams have a bunch of guys who haven’t played in the SEC

this is also popes best team yet so I’d more comfortably put us in the 6-8 losses column

70% everyone else’s fault
30% popes fault

Say whatever you want but pope has had by far the most unlucky head coaching career so far.

players get crazy injuries, HS commits uncommitting stupidly, SEC and NCAA rules messing with him.

I hope pope is absolutely pissed, I hope he’s yelling right now, we still have the opportunity to get a good 15th player but at the same time I’m sure pope is and was confident of the guys he already had, even more now
He’s been a coach over a decade. What are you smoking? He’s paid millions a year to mitigate what you make as excuses.

Ok now you’re just being a stupid troll. No and Jelavic being your starting PF is embarrassing , Lowe is a poor man’s Zoom, Chandler is half the player Milan is. So Explain how this isn’t his best team? I’m waiting
Our guards are:
Starting PG transfer from one of the worst power conference teams
SG from a low major
SF is a legit all-conference player
PF is a low major transfer or Euro mystery
C is a slow footed sophomore who got dominated in every game the last 2 months of the season

Bench is a guy from Washington St who averaged single digits, one of our coach's kids, a redshirt freshman, the PF who doesn't start and a guy with a bad back.

It's Milan and lower tier SEC roster.

Lmao move the goal posts wayyyy back for this one.

PG 15 ppgs at Washington is damn good, your just a hater who base their opinions off anything but their eyes
SG cooked a top 5 school in march madness
SF what you said
PF better than Jelavic in every way so major upgrade
C ok cmon now you’re just being a hater. When Moreno plays welll “he’s so slow footed” he was also just a freshman, so lay off loser

just to compare to Tennessee what makes Terrence Hill Jr any better than our guys? He came from a small, no body conference and team at VCU but I’m sure you think he’s the greatest thing ever.

Ive never in my life seen so many UK fans go player by player and try to call our team trash.

At least next year there will be a boatload of 5 th year players legal to be signed by UK from everywhere. Probably can grab 6-8 of them.

So who do we go after now? Are we just going to roll now with what we have?
Does it matter? Who could possibly be left now that would help us this late? I thought we finally had some good luck. All that needs to happen now is for Kam to be out all year and for Zoom to break his foot. The Pope season special. That’s how our luck has been since 2020.

This is amazingly bad. Woke up to see this. I'm back to being negative. Sorry it is what it is. I knew this was to good to be true. You never get to add your best player in August/September. Supposed to of had this wrapped up.

I'll support this season. First blowout loss im calling for Popes head

I'm glad the SEC did the right thing, and these clown players can maybe stop with their games. Next thing that needs to happen: NIL caps. Without limits this won't survive.
I’m sorry but any Limits on NIL will be declared unconstitutional. Even if they become employees with a salary cap there will be no limits to individuals signing agreements with companies, etc. they could probably limit cooperatives but not sure if it isn’t funneled through the schools. The pros have a salary cap but that doesn’t mean Peyton Manning didn’t earn more from his outside deals.

I think Robbie Avila would be an absolutely great fit; he added his name to Thursday lawsuit today per reports out of St. Louis.

I would suspect Kentucky could outbid St. Louis U. for his services but SLU has their best team in years and will fight to keep him.

He would be ideal player for Pope and this team.

Great passer, shoots 3s, rebounds, defends without fouling, big body. Super High B-ball IQ offsets lack of athleticism.
Dude looks ridiculous, but he can ball

Pope was so confident in N'Diaye and McBride at the 4 that he actively recruited a 33 minute/game go over them up until he couldn't.

That doesn't really add up to any level of actual confidence.

We have a 22-25 win team again. Pope grinding his teech and yelling out at the horses on the horse farm isn't going to change that. He missed on Stokes. He missed on Collins. He missed on Holt. He missed on Mitchell.

Pope misses on the big fish 90% of the time. He had to give Milan over market value to land him.

It is what it is.

One more year and then the misery ends.
Ill bet you a month ban he isn't let go after the season
