Mitchell Not Coming to UK

I thought Missouri didn't have a spot for him? The SEC really ****** us over on this one.
Lot of people going to have to eat some crow now. Many of you all were convinced it was happening.
Another mediocre season coming. Just great....

I don't think he earns another year with current squad. Mitchell isn't an excuse for this season, he was a last minute option that just fell in our laps out of no where.
Mizzou is now better than UK.

Mizzou has 15 players listed on their roster. I'm not sure how he can join the team.
I can't blame Mitchell for this. He knows his odds of getting a fifth year are much greater if he stays at Missouri.

Pope swung and missed. Mitchell or not, he’s coaching for his job this year. And I don’t think we will be good enough anymore.

What’s going on is intraconfernce transfers outside of the portal window were never allowed and pope took a gamble hoping the SEC would back down and they did not
It’s the same issue it’s been for weeks, a lot of yall got lied to with clickbait headlines on twitter. Once the SEC said they weren’t allowing those transfers no matter what, it was over.
No it's not. Mitchell isn't Pope's fault but the fact that we had to have him in order to be good is 100% on Pope.

I don’t blame pope for this but this is like the 15th time he’s gotten everyone’s hopes up and failed to deliver so it’s kind of a pattern lol
and I do blame him for this roster being barely top 25 without Mitchell. So yeah im blaming pope and more so blaming Mitch for hiring him in the first place
He was probably worried the court cases would drag out until next year and he wouldn't get to play at all. Safest place for him was at Mizoo but who was kicked off the team to make room for him?

You're talking about a different issue. Blaming Pope for Mitchell decommitting and going back to Missouri because Sankey won't let him transfer? Stupid. This isn't on Pope.
Do I blame Pope for the quality of this roster (or lack thereof)? Yes. Do I blame him for Mitchell leaving to go back to Missouri because of the SEC BS? No.
Not even slightly. I'm curious to how Mizzou is going to play Tiller and Mitchell together as they're both clearly 4's.
Out will come the children of BBN now whining about Pope because they got what they thought was the taste of a F4 roster, and now it's his fault that the roster is not.

Don’t really care. I didn’t think we were going to win at the level needed even with him here. We will struggle with the same **** we’ve struggled with over the last couple of years regardless. I hope Mark kills it, but I just don’t see it; even with Mitchell on the roster.
It is actually quite shocking how much stuff like this is only happening with Kentucky and Pope. No other program is having to be as paranoid about players that literally commit to them. We're just getting insanely unlucky, or screwed, over and over at this point.

I hope pope is absolutely pissed, I hope he’s yelling right now, we still have the opportunity to get a good 15th player but at the same time I’m sure pope is and was confident of the guys he already had, even more now

Maybe people will stop the whole cheering on the SEC in non UK games BS. I’ve never understood it and certainly can’t fathom it now.
The conference will always actively screw Kentucky basketball and has for years. Kentucky was the sole reason the SEC was not considered the laughingstock of power conferences in the sport for decades. We were the only respectable name and power program.
You know what’s more lucrative for the conference from a money perspective? Having 4-5 powerful basketball programs instead of 1. And they will gladly cut Kentucky down to prop up the others because we are established and never going away.
