GLAD to hear this!!! gonna look fwd to seeing and CHEERING for him.

Im a Hokie fan because growing up...everyone in Central VA was UVA fans. I was a teenager and I was like Im gonna be a rebel and root for Hokies.

I was a fan BEFORE the mike vick era when this influx of fanhood started. I was there when Drunkenmiller and Antonio Freeman was there.

I get so irritated when I hear a UVA fan say "But what do you have a national championship in?" I have to put my head down and walk away.

uhmmmmmmm....I think rooting for them at that time...it wasnt being cool. EVERYONE was a UVA fan in my area. Furthermore, I rooted for them as a basketball team as well back when Ace Custis was there as PG. He went on to play with Mavericks in NBA. I was that dude that was against the masses in Appomattox.

You and I sound about the same age. I remember watching Ace Custis play for them back when I was in high school. Was a lot of UVA fans around here too but was just something about the blue collar mentality that drove me to be a Hokie.

What a great get for the Hokies. The Hokies are getting an absolute stud player, and equally important, a quality and first class young man. Best wishes to Mitchell in the Burg. Not that he will need them because he's going to light it up.

Good to hear. I'm a UVA fan actually, but I like when 1A-2A athletes make it to an NCAA stage no matter where it is. I say this now...before he puts on the jersey and helps with the annual slaughter of my Hoos.

Down this way we have "cburg" and "bburg". Generally just in text form. I don't think I've ever heard either of those out loud. Both are synonymous with "burg" since they are so close in proximity.
