Pretty cool to see disc golf getting more and more coverage. Watching Disc Jesus nailing that 247 footer around the tree to force overtime at the Championships with McBeast was insane, kind of like when "the Hit" happened. Does USC have a disc golf team?
Hope not. Wanna know what's lamer than real golf? Disc golf. Wanna know what's lamer than disc golf? Folks who actually enjoy disc golf.
And to compare something that happened in that activity to Clowney's hit is blasphemy.

Is that even real? I don't see any officials of any kind or a competing team and maybe 4 fans. Looks like some dudes just goofing around in the park.
There are some things in sports I feel like I might have a reasonable chance of accomplishing even though I know it's actually significantly more difficult than it looks (kicking a FG, fielding a kickoff etc.) but I'm about 99.9% confident I can do whatever it is that guy just did in that clip.

You wanna know what's lamer than people who actually enjoy disc golf? People who sit on forums hating on other people who are actually having fun and playing a sport that is growing quickly. Suck it, nerd. I doubt you could even throw a disc 300 feet -- let alone hole out around a tree at the national championships one stroke behind to force a playoff on the final hole. Having watched both that and the Hit, the excitement in the moment was comparable.
Nobody's "hating" on anybody. Your contempt, on the other hand, is unquestionable. People should reserve the use of "hate" or "hating" for what constitutes actual hatred, lest the term lose its important meaning.
Innova, maker of disc, has a plant in RH and the world championship of disc golf is held every fall at Winthrop’s 27 hole course. I have played it many times.

Thanks for that. I have interest. I'm not close enough to a facility to drop in and see others participating. I tend to think of it as a way to be outdoors and
walk. I did look at some beginner discs online after watching a couple of things on youtube.
Some of you need to try it before you knock others. I’m willing to bet those knocking it can’t or won’t walk a full course without losing breathe, and/or can’t throw a frisbee 75 yards with accuracy. Just a hunch.
