I was just thinking that bracewell, pirtle, and rea didnt get drafted and wondered why. I realize none of these guys should be top draft picks, but I figured they'd get picked late. Any insight?
Well, they'll all be drafted next year. I guarantee that. Wes Rea and Pirtle are going to have huge years, and after seeing how all of our senior pitchers improved their draft stock, Bracewell should be really excited about coming back next year.
I'm still curious about the Preston Palmeiro situation. He apparently didn't get drafted and as far as I know still hasn't committed or signed with anyone. I really thought he would get drafted in the late rounds and its still kind of weird that he hasn't signed on with a college anywhere.
3B-OF. I would love to have him at MSU because of the legacy situation but just seems strange that he hasn't signed with someone. I was starting to think maybe he just wanted to go pro and forego college but I don't believe he was drafted. Thought someone would draft him in the later rounds.
