I'm starting this for the season- gives us something else to argue about other than recruiting the next few months<div>
</div><div>1. Kentucky- still the nations best team, tough loss on the road for Cal and crew. Hell, they werent going undefeated, so it was going to happen sometime.</div><div>
</div><div>2. State- gets the slight nod over Fla because Sidney decided to play. When he plays with some effort, this team is a possible Final Four contender. When he doesnt, it's just another team in the NCAA Tourney. State has the best PG in the conference in Bost- and the best big man in Moultrie. Stans has answered the bell in 2012, and may have his best team ever on his hands.</div><div>
</div><div>3. Florida- only 2 losses to come to very good teams on the road...this team is very good and will get nothing but better.</div><div>
</div><div>4. Alabama- plays the best defense in the SEC, but they cant shoot the 3-ball. They are going to get zoned to death this season as teams will be willing to take their chances.</div><div>
</div><div>5. Vandy- only here because of Ezeli being out all season to this point- when he returns, they will move up. They lack a true PG though, and perimeter D is not a strength. Normally, they would be higher with this team, but the resurgence of the SEC has them 5th right now.</div><div>
</div><div>6. Mississippi- Andy Kennedy has put together another team that will scare the NCAA bubble. They have some guys being added to their team now that could make this bunch tough to deal with. But until shown otherwise- Stans still owns this bunch.</div><div>
</div><div>7. LSU- gets better every game out. Johnson can coach- but his recruiting is spotty. He has a good one though in O'Bryant. This team just plays hard and gets what it can out of the talent it has.</div><div>
</div><div>8. UPig- new system- will improve as the year goes with its young talent- but weak in the post with Powell and Sanchez. They need to focus on building their NIT resume'</div><div>
</div><div>9. Georgia- too many losses from last season-good coach, has to get program stable on the recruiting front</div><div>
</div><div>10. Tenn- just trying to recover from the trainwreck</div><div>
</div><div>11. Aubarn- Barbee just needs time to fix this turd</div><div>
</div><div>12. SC- Horn's tenure has turned into a cluster-17</div><div>
