My first thought was this is the "Richard Sherman Effect". National narrative after the Hawks-Falcons that the refs didn't call PI on Sherman that last play. NFL refs respond by callng a ton of ticky tack PI's and def holding in th MNF game. Suspect the Seahawks will get flagged a bit more next weekend too.

The changes to the practice rules are not making for better football. It might be safer for players - but it shows on Sunday/Monday.

I haven't watched a Monday night game since MNF moved from ABC to ESPN. I haven't missed it.

What's funny is how Disney still owns it and some people think that the call letters matter. Same product, a channel that calls for more money. ESPN costs a ridiculous amount on cable/sattelite tv, but you don't see it because it isn't numerized on your bill, sling tv/ ps vue basic is the way to go, fudge Disney.
