He's heading to juco.... It has to be PT.therightway said:I wish him well if was having personal issues.
That could be the whole story, but I don't know. I seem to recall his stock dropping a bunch right before signing day. He didn't seem to impress his coaches in the practices leading up to the Army (or Underarmor) AA game. He may just be one of those guys that dominated in high school because of his size, but doesn't quite have what it takes to play runningback against quality college defenses. Either way, it seems like a hasty move by a freshman.maroonmania said:move him to LB. Would make sense given we could use another talented player at that position and he might get to see regular playing time a lot more early at that position. If so, maybe he just really didn't want to make the move.

Probably in the short run. However, two years from now may be a different story.bsp34 said:this has to mean good things about our RBs if he was concerned about his PT.
Croom's WR recruiting was not only pathetic but also his OL and QB recruiting. Pretty much everything on offense except for RB. The reason a lot of those players really liked Croom was because he was the only D-I coach who would offer them a scholarship.dudehead said:Dollabillz said:Honestly, I think Conner really liked Croom...
And this is true for a lot of the recruited players in that class. Whether you like it or not, most of that class (other than a few of the late guys that Mullen got like a couple of the WRs) is at MSU because of Croom's recruiting.
