It is what it is. It’s not a terrible conference but It’s horrible for football

Also NI got the **** end of the deal.

Statesville is the biggest benefactor for it from gate to travel and all Statesville is the biggest winner

MVL/LN it’s not the ideal conference for us but it is what it is and that’s why both teams loaded up their non conference schedule

And the schedule was officially released yesterday

Week 1- Aug21/22 vs Weddington (in Charlotte, neutral site)

Week 2- Aug 28 vs Sun Valley (home)

Week 3- Sept 5 vs AL Brown (home)

Week 4- Sept 12 vs Hough (away)

Week 5- Sept 19 vs East Forsyth (away)

Week 6- BYE

Week 7- Oct 3 vs South Iredell (away)

Week 8- Oct 10 vs North Iredell (home)

Week 9- Oct 17 vs Davie Co (away)

Week 10- Oct 24 vs Statesville (home)

Week 111 Oct 31 vs Lake Norman (away)

Wow, after week 3 Mooresville only has 2 home games left.

Last year Mooresville went 11-2. Here are the teams Mooresville will play and how they finished from last season. I believe we will see some of the conference teams improve from last year. Lake Norman may be a team to keep an eye on as well.

Mooresville 11-2
vs Weddington 13-1
vs Sun Valley 9-3
vs AL Brown 5-6
vs Hough 12-2
vs East Forsyth 13-1
vs South Iredell 6-5
vs North Iredell 4-7
vs Davie Co 3-7
vs Statesville 9-3
vs Lake Norman 7-4
Also not to forget Mooresville will scrimmage Grimsley and Hickory
I have to say I really like this schedule

Weddington will be tough - They are well coached and It’s at neutral site so this is 50/50 and its first game

SV n ALB I favor Mooresville

Hough - just by history alone and we at Hough n we have struggled there at Hough

EF - tough road match up

So that’s why I said 2-3 game out of 5
