Moorhead strikes again!

Cost me a 10 game parlay. I thought for sure he could score 3 points.

Nonetheless, off to a great start for week 1. Started with a benjamin, picked 10 games I liked tonight (normally 12 on a Sat). I mix and match the 10 I pick and do half 7 game and 5 game parlays and always one with the 10 or 12 for a total of 7 parlays. Picked 9 right so cashed on 2 7 game and 1 5 game parlay, up to 29 benjamins after round 1.

But damn, had Akron +7.5 and they lost 10 0 to Wyoming. Would have won the 10 game plus the other 3.

Lets do it again this weekend!

Glad you did well. Your description gave me flashbacks to a coworker who would talk about his bets on Friday, I would see results and know that he lost big and ask on Monday about it. He would then proceed to tell me that yeah, he would’ve lost money, BUT he teased this other thing and took the over on a wiener dog race, while parlaying something or other on female mud wrasslin. After his winding tale of offsetting bets he never lost money. It was uncanny…

He was easily the most personable college head coach I've ever met. Granted I havent met that many, and most of the ones I met were retired, but Moorhead seemed to genuinely enjoy meeting people at alumni events. Asked questions, tried to get to know you...too bad he can't coach.

We’ll never know but I doubt he’d match Moorhead’s 8 wins. Man, we’ve hired some awful Coaches. The fact we’re even having this discussion is depressing.

Did you even watch last year? So far, he’s Croom level bad. Really worse. At least Croom did have 1 decent season.

Croom lost to 17ing Maine. That’s way worse than Toledo.

This is a cripple fight if there ever was one & im certainly not defending Moorhead at all. But by all indications Lebby is a terrible coach. Yes, he stepped into a bad situation. But if anything he made it even worse. This is big time football. You don’t get a mulligan. You have to perform. I don’t have to prove Lebby is a bad coach. He has to prove he’s a good one. And he hasn’t.

You really need to review just how bad Joe's been at Akron. Without FCS teams and Kent State (who has 1 win in the last two seasons), he has 3 wins in 3 seasons. And he came very close to losing to those FCS teams twice in 3 years and did lose to Kent his first year.

Unlike you apparently, I'm going to give him this season to actually prove he's a terrible coach. Seems the reasonable thing to do given what he inherited, but I've been wrong many times.

Haven't ironed out Sat just yet. I don't like tonights slate, if forced I would go with only 7 games and will have a little action.
