Moral victory my azzz

Moral victory has been deemed a negative term these days. But it was that. I saw steam that went toe to toe and borderline outplayed a team that is as talented as any team in the country. Gotta fixture out RT (not sure if all the pressure was from that side but it felt like it was). But we could have easily won a game that the entire country thought we’d lose easy. We are still a work in progress but the future feels bright for the first time in a long time. I’ll sleep well with my moral victory tonight - but still feel sick that we lost that game.
Yada Yada Yada. We lost and they won. We had our chances and blew it. Shapen costed us this win plain and simple. Handed the ball to UT after getting hit. He has a history of doing that.

Wow, we took a Top 15 Team to OT. We played sloppy and fought tooth and nail. Team showed they can compete and just fell short …. Blame it on whatever aspect you want to pick. Definitely a moral victory where we came from last season. Open your eyes.
Shapen is slow to act, and there are no moral victories, but asside from the INT, the scoop and score wasn’t on him. He played well enough. Just couldn’t stop them at the end.
Then you're a goofy SOB. Root for a win, hope for a win, but don't expect wins vs teams who are touchdown favorites because they have quite a bit more talent than you do.

I was pleasantly surprised. I thought Tennessee would curb-stomp us like what Notre Dame did to Arkansas..
Instead our 2-4 star recruits stood toe to toe to 4 and 5-stars and for 60 minutes fought them to a draw.
Tennessee had one dropped TD pass, and had another called back by a questionable offensive interference penalty.

I don’t remember the FL play, but a fumble from a season ending injury and a fumble from a blindside decleating isn’t concerning. I’m more concerned if he got a concussion on that hit because he wasn’t the same after.
