Get ready for a few more like that because sacks are considered running plays. Running the ball less than 10 times a game combined with a few sacks thrown in will do it.

The alternate stat to counter that is our primary RB had nearly 200 total yards.

I think total rushing yards is pretty misleading due to sack yardage be subtracted. Our 2 RBs had 10 carries for 49 yards/basically 5 yards per carry. I think they would have got several more carries each had LSU not be playing man coverage most of the game. That was just too tempting for Leach.

I was definitely worried about the offense when it comes to running clock and having a bunch of 3 and outs, and the affect that had on the defense. I was pleasantly surprised there. Yes we rain an Air Raid but it still looked like SEC football. It didn't look like a Big 12 flag game.

That whole Leach 3 and out thing is nothing but a myth. The statistics show the exact opposite plus he typically has the fewest 3rd downs. So that can just be thrown in the garbage.
