I hope we have one with John Bond on it. Living in Baton Rouge, he's the one State player that LSU fans still talk about with distain. He had their number.

back when freshmen weren't eligible. bama beat lsu 11 times in a row from 71-81, but i don't know if one QB won four times.

looks like rutledge did the same from 77-79. but he didn't play in 76.

no one from auburn has done it.

looks like DANNY WUERFFEL accomplished the feat from 93-96.

that Bellard ran, and Bond was a master at it. Ironically, Pete Jenkins was the DL coarch for LSU, who later coarched at State. I'm wondering if the option that Ga. Tech runs is similar to the one Bellard ran at that time...both triple option. But Bond wasn't much of a passer, so that aspect was negligible.

Relatively-speaking we did pretty well against LSU until the past 20 years. It's nothing to brag about but we beat them more times than Auburn or Bama. I would guess we've played UM, LSU, Auburn and Bama more than all other teams. Edited to add: I'm fairly certain we've won more games in Tiger Stadium than any other away SEC stadium too.
