Anybody that even remotely follows college football knows memphis is a bottom feeder and has been for years. Utah State would likely beat memphis as bad or worse than Miss. State did yesterday.

If msu watched any of the game yesterday then we can expect short passes all day long. They did this against Memphis.

we could have beaten Memphis much worse than we did!

I said this on another thread. MSU will have 500 plus yards against Auburn. We did not show anything new on offense from last year. We played a lot of young guys and we did not show every defensive scheme or blitz. After watching the game film I am sure our coaching staff has made adjustments to the defense. Having Cox back is going to help a lot. It might have been a blessing he did not play Thursday. Watching football all week end and one thing I figured out, Auburn, Ole Miss and KY are fighting to be the bottom feeder in the SEC. Even Vandy seems to be better then those teams.

Nearly everyone of those Jim Jones assclowns picked Auburn's women over everyone else's. The truth of the matter is any poll on this subject that doesn't put Ole Miss women over all others is completely inaccurate. I don't care if it's our State, my State, your State, their State. Ole Miss women are in a league of their own. No disputing that. Those clowns on the Auburn scout board make Swan Lake look objective.

Memphis and Utah State are both bottom feeders. In all honesty, Utah came to play. That converted 3 4th down conversions and 9/16 3rd down conversions. We were lucky to get out of that one alive. Their Frosh Qb played lights out, not one mistake the wholegame. They didn't turn the ball over any and was pretty sound on penalties. They took Oklahoma to the wire last year and that was without 6 starters they got back for this season. They are not SEC caliber, but they went all out and played the best possible game they could. We played with a vanilla scheme on offense and defense and almost got beat. Hard to do much when your offense only takes 16 snaps in the first half and most of that was due to being out of position along the defensive line. Lots of young guys up there. You guys will have some great rushing numbers, maybe we can stall you enough in the pass that we can sneak one out.

With that said, you guys should probably take a larger sampling when dragging your classics back over here, just like your fans, some of ours put their foot in their mouth when they get behind the keyboard too. One of your idiots were spewing off about Cam Newton the other day and how MSU had nothing to do with any wrongdoing.Whether Auburn did anything wrong or not is yet to be determined, but it is fact MSU was involved in some way and drug their feet reporting it.

Cecil asked us for money and we reported it. If there was truthfully any major wrong doing on our point then why wasn't Cam on our roster last year? If we were really in the wrong, we would have paid for him and there is no question about that. How are we in the wrong?

Does the NCAA know about this fact?
I also find it quite odd that MSU would dare REPORT an incident that indicts us? Is you crazy, fool? Or are you drunk? Or are you just plain(s) stoooopid? Maybe yo mama dropped you on the head one too many times?

We are little old MSU to the league office. Do you think Slive and his cronies jump when they see "MSU athletic dept" come across their caller ID? Ya'll have blamed the timing on us over and over without giving the slightest chance that maybe, just maybe, the gang in Birmingham just didn't want yet ANOTHER black eye to deal with? Secondly, another obstacle we dealt with was our compliance team dealing with gettingSidney (fat basketball player)eligible, a process that took over a year since the NCAA drug it's feet repeatedly. What would you do if you worked in our compliance office? Bust your *** to get a player that actually signed to playfor your school eligible (Sidney)or bust your *** todeal witha player who spurned you for umm, well, greener pastures? That's all moot now though. Since you're here though, welcome. I would like to hear your thoughts on our involvement. Which theory you buying? That Cecil would solicit $180,000 from MSU but would allow Cam to Auburn just becauseorange and bluelooks better on him? Or the Auburn O-Line was more experienced so that in itself is worth playing for free on the Plains?

in my view you lost all credibility in posting over here with the comment "but it is fact MSU was involved in some way and drug their feet reporting it." See, this is the Auburn fantasy version. Based on the facts that are out there now, we were involved in the Cam Newton situation in about the same way the woman is involved in a rape crime. We were shaken down by a greedy father and his representative and to this day there is not one shred of public info alluding to the fact that we paid anything or were willing to have paid anything. If we had been willing Cam would have been at MSU like he wanted and you guys could have kissed your BCS NC goodbye. And sorry we didn't meet your timetable in reporting the incident but I would assume that is not the type of thing we would report without taking the time to do our own thorough investigation first. And no, before you bring it up, it is NOT an NCAA violation to continue to offer a scholarship to a recruit who has asked for an extra benefit. You really at this time should be much more concerned about Sheridan's Auburn bagman.

You reported it-I didn't say you failed to report it. In January after Cam signed with AU, then you took 6 months to bring the followup details. Seems tome your compliancedepartment drugtheir feet trying to sweep everything under the rug after your rogue boosters and agents actively tried to gather money to get Newtonto the craphole that is Starkville. Doesn't surprise me that you guys couldn't come up with the money, heckif I was a fan of MSU I wouldn't throw in a dime for a player unless he's bringing 17 of his buds bc you'd need 18 Cams to win a championship.

Who knows if a booster of AU paid Cecil.I'm sure you will let me know ifthey everfind out.

The Mississippi State University is superior to Ole Miss the past 100 years in every thing except football..and we're poised to roll off 20 in a row. On the other hand, Auburn is inferior in every other sport other than football...you'll always be Bama's little sister.

Before the whole Cam thing, the Auburn and MSU fanbases got along for the most part. I've spent a lot of time on both campuses, and they're very very similar. Thenew-foundanimosity is actually refreshing. When I look at both sides, I'd say it worked out pretty well for each. State would have never realized Relf's full potential as a leader, and he would likely be trying to fill Cam's shoes this year. Instead, Relf is in a position to contend for the SEC West, and possibly leave a great legacy behind. State went 9-4 last year without Cam, so I'd say not getting him didn't wreck the season. Auburnbenefited from Cam much more than State would have. He basically won 6-7 games by himself last year. Without him, who know's how Auburn would have done.. likely not 14-0.... probably not sub .500 either though.I don't think State fans are jealous that they didn't get Cam, which is how some Auburn fansperceiveit. All of my State friends, me included, rarely even talk about Cam and MSU. Relf is that impressive... he's almost faded the memory of what could have been with Cam. The animosity comes from the fact that Auburn got Cam and State didn't. From an objective standpoint, State didn't offer money... Cecil asked. Cam didn't go to State, so obviously they didn't pay. There's no record that Auburn paid Cam either. It's pure speculation.. which is basically what we are all doing here on this board.

You don't really believe that, do you? Really? Come on, man. You can't be that stupid. You beat us by 3 points last year, and your purchased QB damn near gave us the game. Your "facts" are delusional. State didn't try to buy Cam and we didn't drag our feet. The SEC office dragged its feet and someone decided to go over their head to the NCAA against Slive's wishes. Trying to convince yourself much less anyone else that Auburn did not rent the mule is beyond idiotic. Hope you enjoyed the ride because when the NCAA finishes with you mother17ing Auburn is going down UAB is gonna get the death penalty.
