The only thing that College Gameday Final had to say about us egame came from Rece Davis - "They threw in a TD in the waning moments that they really didn't have to"

What an idiot. That was a great call. A TD ices it period. And even if we don't convert, there's no return opportunity and they have 2 plays, max, to drive 60 yds.

I just watched the entire sportscenter and not a single mention of the game or MSU. They even did a 'remaining undefeated teams' bit and didn't mention us. They mentioned #18 Louisville and #20 Rutgers. Skipped right over us. Sigh.

They signed off saying "Next, I think College Football Final will be talking about Mississippi State (they didn't). The Bulldogs are 6-0 and they are for real."

They showed three plays. The "great" Tennessee kickoff return (spent most of their time on this). The long kickoff that we recovered and the first touchdown pass from Russell. Screw them and their staff!

It's weird Sportscenter went out of their way to make a tweet promising malcolm johnson a reserved spot on the SC top ten... He wasnt on there

So we were running it up on UT per ESPN?

That's ironic since I wish Dan would run it up on someone like Troy instead of only beating them 30-26.

How does he figure that? If we don't score, we give them the ball back with a chance to win the game. I know they'd have like 10 seconds to go 90 yards, but with their receivers, they're one of the few teams that would legitimately have a chance in that situation. Dan played it very smart from 1st and goal in that last series, run clock, run clock, run clock, throw a safe pass to the end zone.

That's the thing that really sticks out to me, patdog. That was a VERY safe throw. If Malcolm doesn't make that catch, no one does. No chance of an INT, it's either a TD for us or 1st and 90+ yards with roughly 15 seconds to go for the Vols. It was a brilliant call and ran as much or more time than a simple running play would have done.

Don't know **** about football, but that's exactly what I wanted us to do. If nobody's open, let Russell run around & eat as much clock as possible. If we could have run the clock out without scoring, we would have (see many past Mullen games for proof).
