Oh don't worry a-hole, the Cubs would still pay most of the salary for the woe is me Yankees.

After yesterday's events with Braun, I CANNOT WAIT for A-Rod to get back. I pray the day he is activated the suspension comes down and he never gets an AB.

As long as they cover the salary then have at it

And I don't think Arod ever plays again with the Yankees. I don't think he is hurt now. I think they are just delaying him coming back until he gets suspended

I think he really is hurt, but you're probably right about him never playing again. There is serious talk about MLB pursuing a lifetime ban for ARod, because they said he tampered with their investigation (told witnesses not the talk to MLB). If that's the case, he's done, Yankees are off the hook.

marlins just called up their top 2 position prospects in yelich and marisnick, both OFs. they already called up another top OF prospect in ozuna earlier in the season and he's performed adequately well for a rookie, though his minor league power hasn't shown. there has been lots of staton trade rumors since the offseason fire sale. with 3 rookies getting OF playing time now, i'm wondering if the marlins are making sure their OF is set for the foreseeable future without stanton, then dealing him in the offseason for a boatload of arms and/or IF prospects...

I think he is negotiating a deal with MLB

On how long his suspension will be and knows he isn't playing this year

My fantasy team hopes they trade Stanton. I think the Colorado Rockies should trade for Stanton. Have you seen his numbers at Coors field? He's hit a homerun there like every 5th at bat.

I'm hoping the Giants sell this year and get rid of Lincecum, Zito, Pence, and Scutaro. That would free up $60 million a year to spend on better players than those 4. Btw the Astros signed Altuve for 4 years $12 million. What a steal.
