Gotta start somewhere. I really liked his aggression. And I liked that he was pulling them from very deep. We need a few more guys to do that imo. We don’t have the shot creators, but you can make up for that by having the defense having to guard all the way out there
We need to shoot teams out of games, it’s possible with good screening and cutting. We can shoot as a team great, do what we do well.

I'm glad we came out and extended a pretty good lead from the jump It allowed Chandler to be able to play the way he played tonight, and instilled confidence in not only him, but the whole team.
He still has some growing to do, but these games like tonight are great confidence builders.
Everyone has to remember he didn't play ball for two years. People are rusty coming back after a week or two injury. Collin may never be a all SEC type but a solid role player who hustles, athletic defender can handle the ball a little, jump out of the gym and is a threat to hit a jump shot can find a spot on many good teams. He needs work but like Travis and Noah they never were supposed to be relied on for anything important this year anyways.

with the 3 freshman of Noah, Perry, and Chandler they all have the same weaknesses: defense and ball handling. You need to be able to make shots to make up for weaknesses. Chandler did that last night.

The 3 of them are practically unplayable if they aren’t making shots

Chandler is definitely the wildcard on this year's team, in my opinion.

There are games like last night (granted LSU is not a good team) where he looks like he can be a big time contributor.. then other games where he looks completely lost.

I am sure that inconsistency has mostly to do with taking a few years off. But man, if he can just play in the fashion he did last night (I know that is probably asking a lot), that will be huge down the stretch, especially with Jax being done.

Chandler also has good visions in several times that against top teams he has showed good defense, but I know it’s not totally consistent at this time

I’m hoping he continues this good play. It would be huge if he starts being an actual threat. He has the athleticism to compete against better teams.
He has the athleticism. He has the height. I think he also has the skills. He just also has 2 yrs of rust, not fully knocked off yet.
But the past 2 weeks he has definitely progressed.
Noah and Perry have dropped behind him (2-3 weeks ago they were both ahead of him). But even though they've done very little the past couple weeks, they are not getting open looks which means teams know they can shoot and are sticking close to them, thus not double-teaming off them onto someone else. So there's that.

Same can be said for Brea, Carr, and Almonar .imo.

Chandler looks like he hits the weights, Noah doesn't look like that. (Neither does jackson Robinson for that matter) These freshmen just need to hit the weights and calisthenics hard in the off-season, you can't be weak in this league, ball skills is only half the battle

Andrew Carr is the one that could have benefitted the most from weight training imo . It’s unbelievable how weak he is for a senior. Could have really made a difference in his effectiveness down low . Too late now .

Agreed, it's amazing to me about alot of basketball players don't think they need to strength train, this game is very physical and just like football players bball players should be hitting the weights hard.

He could be on the level of richie saunders in his junior or senior year. A solid contributor in top 25 team.

He definitely has that potential. He is high 4 star and richie was only three star. They both leave two years and then return to basketball. I think Chandler definitely has chance to develop into richie saunders level player in jr or sr year.

The problem is will Chandler stay here long enough. BYU or other Utah school may pursue him very hard offseason...
