I hope Goodell doesn't give him the roster exemption. Andersen was one of my favorite Saints when I was growing up (Hell, he was what, 60-70% of their scoring back then) , but I don't like the precedent it would set for the NFL. No one player is bigger than the game, and you'd be seeing every player that was close to some sort of record want to come back and one up each other. Let them earn whatever record they're going after, don't just hand it to them.</p>

to let him come back to kick one extra point is making a mockery of the game. It's no better than Favre letting that guy sack him just so he could get the record. If they do let him do it, I hope he misses the extra point and the Saints lose by 1.
