He seems to do everything well. What stands out to me, is he wins a lot of the one-on-one battles, regardless of position he is playing.

I think the sentiment of him playing DB is starting to change. I see him playing receiver at the next level.

Yah I'm really wondering where he ends up. I honestly think slot receiver/return guy might be it.

At least in the limited conversation I heard on 1620 some months back, it sounded like it might be potentially a lot of work to make him a DB.

Given that we have DW on staff now, I don't know that we take a flyer on an undersized in-state kid as a DB in the hopes he's a better DB than someone DW could bring in from CA.

I would like to see him N, but we will only be taking 1-2 WR next year and Coach Williams is already in on some big fish.

After watching his highlights and Bradley's, I'm wondering if they are that good or if defenses are that bad. Both of them barely get touched.

I take stats for one of those teams in his highlight reel, and we played a few of those other teams and watched film of some others. Elkhorn, Gretna, McCook, and Skutt are all top tier in Class B, York right behind them, Ralston and Gross a bit below, Mount Michael at the bottom (and undersized). Most of the highlights were against the better teams. The kid is really good. Against Class A competition, he probably gets caught in the secondary on some of those long runs, but Moses has great moves in tight spaces.

I'm not sure where the undersized comments come from. He's a shade under 6' and he's every bit of 195lbs right now. As for track, I've been telling him to do it since his freshman year. I think he will this spring.

I saw he was listed at 6-0 190. He'll be more than solid when he gets to NU. 205 would be nice. I'll be interested to hear your track reports!

Doesn't look as explosive as Bradley, but looks a bit stronger. If he's got 3k rushing yards and 50 TDs after his senior year like Bradley did, I think he'd be worth an offer.

The only problem with Moses getting 3k rushing yards is that Elkhorn South does not ride him like a rented mule. Over his career I'm pretty sure he averages a tad under 10 yards per carry. Add in his catches and he's over 10 yards a touch.

Bryant has great cutting ability, vision, and balance.

YPC is definitely important. At the same time, Bradley was still able to get 3k even though the defense knew he was getting the ball.
Anyone know his 40 time?

I'm not sure on any up to date 40 times. He was getting some help with his starts and form last I know.

I'm sorry but there's no way we offer him. This is Class B he's facing. Good luck to the kid wherever he ends up.

Don't think class matters all that much. If you can play, you can play. Drew Ott (class D) says hi. Being somewhat close to the situation on Moses' end I'd say a Nebraska offer is imminent as long as his grades are where they need to be.

Any idea where he ends up in terms of position? Does he have a preference, is he hearing a preference out of NU? Last we heard was DB.

The biggest problem for Bryant is there are similar guys we are recruiting in LA that have been facing killers and other serious athletes their entire lives. That type of competition really elevates your game. Doubt Bryant has seen that at Elkhorn and elsewhere in Nebraska class B.

At first it was all DB from Nebraska, it sounds like they have changed that since the state championship game. I really thinks he ends up a slot receiver. Mo doesn't care what position he plays at the next level. He would be very raw at DB though.

Yah that seemed to be Benning's assessment. Has Coach Dub spoken to him, if I'm not mistaken, Stewart was the one evaluating him?

If he has a season next year like he did this year, there's absolutely no reason to not offer him a scholarship. People throwing out the class B card are clueless.
Lol look at these defenders he's playing. It's clear the competition is awful he's facing.

Damon is pretty close with Moses. I'm not sure if Coach W has spoken with Moses or not. The last person he heard from that I know of was Mike Riley. That was back around thanksgiving.

Not saying he's some great DB, but taking the word of the worst coach in the history of Class A as gospel is turning into a Nebraska fan epidemic.

Still looking for what someone might see on film as the reasons why he doesn't fit in. Class B is not the issue. I've actually seen him play against Class A kids and he is a serious difference-maker vs those kids too.

Benning basically piled on Stewarts assessment. Stewart has made quite a pile of money doing what he does.

Edit: Benning was also a national championship caliber RB and is intimately familiar with Class A talent here in the state in the last several years. If I'm going to listen to his call about anything, it would generally be giving him the benefit of the doubt if he thinks Moses won't be a D1 running back at NU.

And yet our two '18 instate commits are from Beatrice and York, not sure Class B is an issue.

CJ is a top 5 athlete nationally. He went to camps and showed out vs other 4 stars. The other is a 6'5 specimen who you have to take just on sheer potential. Bryant will not receive an offer. Look at a player like Fuller then look at Moses. There's no comparison.
