Pretty sure he's being recruited as a DBHe would be an incredible compliment to Jaylin Bradley.

I think the sentiment of him playing DB is starting to change. I see him playing receiver at the next level.
I take stats for one of those teams in his highlight reel, and we played a few of those other teams and watched film of some others. Elkhorn, Gretna, McCook, and Skutt are all top tier in Class B, York right behind them, Ralston and Gross a bit below, Mount Michael at the bottom (and undersized). Most of the highlights were against the better teams. The kid is really good. Against Class A competition, he probably gets caught in the secondary on some of those long runs, but Moses has great moves in tight spaces. After watching his highlights and Bradley's, I'm wondering if they are that good or if defenses are that bad. Both of them barely get touched.
I thought about that too being Class B and all. After watching his highlights and Bradley's, I'm wondering if they are that good or if defenses are that bad. Both of them barely get touched.
I saw he was listed at 6-0 190. He'll be more than solid when he gets to NU. 205 would be nice. I'll be interested to hear your track reports!I'm not sure where the undersized comments come from. He's a shade under 6' and he's every bit of 195lbs right now. As for track, I've been telling him to do it since his freshman year. I think he will this spring.
Bryant has great cutting ability, vision, and balance.Doesn't look as explosive as Bradley, but looks a bit stronger. If he's got 3k rushing yards and 50 TDs after his senior year like Bradley did, I think he'd be worth an offer.
YPC is definitely important. At the same time, Bradley was still able to get 3k even though the defense knew he was getting the ball. The only problem with Moses getting 3k rushing yards is that Elkhorn South does not ride him like a rented mule. Over his career I'm pretty sure he averages a tad under 10 yards per carry. Add in his catches and he's over 10 yards a touch.
I'm sorry but there's no way we offer him. This is Class B he's facing. Good luck to the kid wherever he ends up.
Reason?
Edit: Not saying you are right or wrong. Just wondering what you see that makes you so sure.

Don't think class matters all that much. If you can play, you can play. Drew Ott (class D) says hi. Being somewhat close to the situation on Moses' end I'd say a Nebraska offer is imminent as long as his grades are where they need to be.
Any idea where he ends up in terms of position? Does he have a preference, is he hearing a preference out of NU? Last we heard was DB.
At first it was all DB from Nebraska, it sounds like they have changed that since the state championship game. I really thinks he ends up a slot receiver. Mo doesn't care what position he plays at the next level. He would be very raw at DB though.
Lol look at these defenders he's playing. It's clear the competition is awful he's facing. If he has a season next year like he did this year, there's absolutely no reason to not offer him a scholarship. People throwing out the class B card are clueless.
Yah that seemed to be Benning's assessment. Has Coach Dub spoken to him, if I'm not mistaken, Stewart was the one evaluating him?

If the kid is going to play DB....does the staff really like him better than Fuller Jr who we just picked up?

Not saying he's some great DB, but taking the word of the worst coach in the history of Class A as gospel is turning into a Nebraska fan epidemic.
Still looking for what someone might see on film as the reasons why he doesn't fit in. Class B is not the issue. I've actually seen him play against Class A kids and he is a serious difference-maker vs those kids too.
Benning basically piled on Stewarts assessment. Stewart has made quite a pile of money doing what he does.
Edit: Benning was also a national championship caliber RB and is intimately familiar with Class A talent here in the state in the last several years. If I'm going to listen to his call about anything, it would generally be giving him the benefit of the doubt if he thinks Moses won't be a D1 running back at NU.

And yet our two '18 instate commits are from Beatrice and York, not sure Class B is an issue.
