I spent last weekend in Alabama and heard call after call on the radio by Bama fans saying that it wouldn't matter if the play was ruled an interception.....WTF? Yeah those turnovers in scoring territory never have an impact on the game. Their retard fans really make Ole Miss fans look good at times.

LSU's offense probably wouldn't have driven down the field and scored the TD they needed to win the game. But that's not the point. The call still couldn't have possibly been more obviously wrong. And it did rob LSU of the chance to possibly win the game.

I am also getting told by some bama fans that Jones touched the ball first.? And since he was out of bounds (remember this ole miss fans) the ball is considered dead, and cannot be an interception.? I have watched the replay of this several times from several different sites and still cannot see jones touch the ball first.

Saying that one foot was down in the field and the other on the line, it's a catch, but not in that pic...</p>

"Unless he's gotta get his head down in bounds that's a catch!"

Having said that, I dont think his foot is down yet in that picture.

But I do agree, Alabama probably still gets the win. It still would have been nice to see how the game would have played out.

The worst thing about this whole situation are the officials that struggled making a call on the field. I think it's rather silly to give two officials who had no clue what happened in the play the benefit of the doubt. You could tell that both didn't want to make a call because neither saw it. I am 99.99999% confident Peterson intercepted the ball, but until the replay review system gets revamped, we are going to see this happen all the time. If the officials could have deferred the call to the replay booth, this would have never happened.

The ball is blurry as the pass comes to his hands. At some point in the video, the ball quits being blurry - at that point the ball has stopped because it is resting in the LSU guy's hands. Beyond that point, the ball is never bobbled. So I'm saying when the ball stops being blurry is when he has control of the football.

This point, by the way, is when the left foot is flat on the ground, before he drags the toe for good measure.

Looks like the right hand is on the ball and left had is closing in on it. I am not saying it was not an INT, just not in that pic. Watching the video, you clearly see that it was an INT with one and maybe two feet down in bounds.
