Last week when you got your **** handed to you by Tech, my joy was made complete. Perfect ending to a great day. I mean, sure... we lost to the number 20 team in the nation on a last second field goal and you lost to a WAC team that you trailed for the last quarter and a half, but there are SOME similarities.

Yep, our club level exploded last week when La. Tech got that final first down, so we're even. At least it was a game we were supposed to lose though.

I wouldn't count the games against Vandy and ULM as W's just yet my friend.

As sweet as it was to hear that MSU lost at Ruston, it was equally as sweet to see UM score with 1 minute left against a decent Wake team, Hotty Toddy's galore, thinking about all the smack to MSU fans coming on the heels of this road win, only to lose seconds later.

Close, but no cigar. Seems like that is a theme for UM football when its at its best.

Vandy will be a tough out. They've already proven that. I think we'll win, but I don't think it's a slam dunk by any stretch. ULM... well, I consider that a win just like you guys thought Tech was a win.

Equally sweet was seeing three Ole Miss *** clowns in the middle of the MSU Barnes and Noble bookstore whooping and hollering when they went up --- and then see them sulking out after they lost (unfortunately I didn't get to see the last part because I went into the game ... but, it sure is fun imagining it).

I agree that we can't take anyone for granted, but from what I've seen of teams through 2 games, I feel like there are 6 games left on our schedule that we should be favored in, barring a slew of injuries.

ULM's not awful, but if you can't beat them by multiple scores, then you're a bad team. Vandy's not a pushover either, but they have a one dimensional offense. If we don't beat them by at least a TD or more, I'll be disappointed.

Of course if you want to look down your schedule, your games with MTSU, Vandy, and UK don't look nearly as much like automatic W's as they did at the beginning of the year.

You can't take hardly anything to the bank anymore in college football. There are between 5 upsets each week now, it used to be about 1 every 2-3 weeks.

Nutt will experience it this year, as will Fedora. Probably not as bad as Croom did in week 1, but watch and see.

We played SELA....Guys there is no comparison there. I watched the Ole Miss game and I'll tell you they have a good team this year and I'm hoping they have some major injuries before the end of the season or they will beat the living **** out of us....So lets not get giddy about beating a terrible directional LA school and lets focus on what WE-MSU needs to do to win...

If MSU was playing a good team on the road and lost on a last second fieldgoal, OleMiss fans would be ecstatic too.

Being happy that OleMiss lost on a last second field goal is a separate event from anything going on at Starkville at the same time. I don't care if we were playing SELA or the 1991 Nebraska Cornhuskers, all MSU fans loved that field goal when it went through the uprights.
