The better team is Mizzou... but Auburn is the most improved. The wareagleplainsmen were about as rock bottom as you can get last year.

I'll wait to say till after Mizzou has actually played more than 3 SEC games. SEC play decimated a once top 10 team that beat LSU/SCAR and brought them to their knees in Neyland Stadium. That once top 10 team just ruined Mizzou's season by taking their QB out. Welcome to SEC play, Mizzou. Enjoy your wins when you can because the Schedule of SEC play will leech the life out your team. There are very few survivors in the end.

with james franklin getting injured, the long-term answer is auburn, but the right-now answer is mizzou. that defense looked legit as ****, but with franklin out, they will struggle at the qb position and are about to run into 2 straight losses especially with franklin out for the season. they have some nice wr's as well, but that qb cannot be trusted winging the ball out like franklin did. auburn on the other hand is exactly who many thought they were. their strength is managing the game, hanging in, making adjustments, picking and choosing their opportunities and then striking when the time is right. you can tell malzahn is not the idiot chizik was and he was the one that made that offense chug along. chizik did nothing but accept the nice paycheck. auburn clearly knows their limitations and their weaknesses and does their damnedest to minimize them and not let them get exploited....something we should be doing, but our staff is too moronic to recognize or address it.

I'll go with that

SEC play decimated a once top 10 team that beat LSU/SCAR and brought them to their knees in Neyland Stadium.

Don't think I have seen an injury report as long as what Georgia had this past weekend.

To me the Jury is still out on Mizzou.

^^ Very knowledgeable post.

In short, Auburn knows how to win, and MSU doesn't. But funny enough, the more raw talent you have, the more it seems like you know how to 'win'. Weird.....

I agree, he appears to be more mobile than Franklin. For some reason I thought

Franklin was a big time dual threat guy but I didn't get that impression watching him Saturday. He throws a good ball but his wheels did not appear that special to me but maybe I am just wrong.

the fact that malzhan has taken over a team sitting on 4-5 top 10-15 recruiting classes doesn't hurt his efforts.

I think Auburn beating Ole Miss

gotta go w Auburn but by a sliver

moved them ahead of OM in the bowl pecking order & into the Gator Bowl. The Ole Miss vs. Missouri game will be played for a spot in the Music City & the loser goes to Memphis to the Liberty . You could say Missouri could be playing for more, but with Franklin getting hurt, I just don't see them beating Florida or South Carolina the next 2 weeks.

I was impressed with Mizzou's pass rushing against Georgia. Most bears early on had that as a W.....but Franklin should be back and their backup is no slouch.
